Call Amazon customer service for credit if you have bought at a higher price from them. I received mine, after speaking to Amazon CSR. Uploaded the Order summary if it could help some one to do price match / price adjustment.

This most certainly supports 4K. For someone with "protech" in their username, that is an awfully misinformed statement to make.

Been wanting a fire TV since my firestick has trouble with Kodi every now and then. Very tempting.

Is it just buffering issues with the firestick?

Between this and amazon flogging a bunch of refurbished devices for cheap recently, i think we can say that his is a sign that the 3rd Gen is on the horizon. I actually emailed amazon the other day to ask them an ETA and obviously they played dumb. Going deal but going to hold out for the latest!

it was cheaper through staples with visa checkout and then I used it with amex 25 off 100. but it requires you to buy more than just the fire tv.

I had the same thought, but unfortunately I'm too late... it's already been shipped. I got this one anyway and will just return the one I got from Amazon. Good deal!
