The rtings.com rating isn't that good.
US5800 doesn't support higher end features like HDR, 3D or local dimming.
The sound of the TCL US5800 is especially bad
Conclusion:
For a 4k TV, the TCL US5800 isn't terrible but still at the bottom of the range. For most usages, 'average' would be the word to summarize its performances. It has more blur than ideal, its colors aren't that good and the fact that the TV can't get bright emphasis its reflections issues. The main strength of the TCL US5800 is really its strong Roku smart platform.

Was waiting for another deal on this tv! It went back up to $500 yesterday, so I'm surprised it went back down to $400 today. Great deal with the 15% discount. Sweet. Pulled the trigger.

Thanks! I ordered that JVC 55" 4K from Walmart when it went on sale for $299 last Wed but for $25 more, this has the Roku built in and has better reviews. I'll compare both though and return one.

This TV keeps getting cheaper and cheaper to own. I bought it with the first deal, then had Target PM the 10% registry deal (down to about $348) about 2 weeks later, and now I'll have Citi Price Rewind give me the rest of the deal down to $339.99.

Also, this TV is incredible. The first one I got had screen tearing issues, but I took it back and got a replacement, and it has been just awesome ever since. Great contrast, great colors, 4K looks incredible (Orphan Black at 4K is remarkable), and the Roku interface is the cherry on top - snappy and reliable.

I bought a Vizio way back when they were unknown, and felt like a genius for getting a quality TV at a crazy low price just because it didn't have a famous logo on it.

I bought this TCL TV last week, and I feel the exact same way. Great TV.

not sure, but I'll try it out once I get my keyboard today, I think Android TV remote from the app store works but not sure, I don't use the built it Roku,i tend to use my Nvidia shield which is super fluid, the built in Roku is kinda slow for me

Paid same price for same size brand last year only it was 1080. Oh well, 4k dropped so fast. Maybe next year.

Bought this for my parents on the last deal and it's been great. Much better than I had expected for the price.

Use the Roku App for your keyboard. No, a BT keyboard does not work with this TV.

Has anyone tried stacking 15% registry code. It would be around 260+tax

That's the same sales pitch I gave my mom yesterday before we bought this TCL laugh out loud

Also got a target rep to give me an extra $25 gift card since we can't use the registry code on this. Brings my price down to $300 even after tax (I also a separate $25 gift card to pay)

Worth it if no redcard?

Was looking at the Sams Club Hisense 50", this would be $60 more but includes Roku and is 5" bigger, plus I don't have to wait for my friend with the Sams Club membership to help me.
