DirecTV Now - “Go Big” channel tier with 100 channels for $35 per month (Normally $65)

For a limited time, AT&T will offer the "Go Big" channel tier with 100 channels for $35 per month. (The normal $35 base package is limited to "60+ channels.") If you sign up in time, the offer will remain valid each month until you cancel. But that $35 rate is not the long-term pricing for 100+ channels. DirecTV Now offers step-up subscriptions that include other channels and content for a higher monthly cost.

HBO and Cinemax can be added to any of these packages for just $5 extra (each) per month.

So, I have directv satellite with unlimited data on my phone. Does anyone know if I'd be able to drop the satellite, sign up for this and keep my unlimited data?

Note to AT&T:
Get this on Roku yesterday. Work with TIVO to get this on their systems ASAP.

How is this not on Roku at launch? Ugh. I wonder if the three month pre-paid and you get an AppleTV is real. http://www.businessinsider.com/di...te-2016-11 R.I.P. Sling and PS VUE. They need to release the channel line ups. I wonder if half of them are music channels.

My understanding is that Roku is about to (or is currently) in the process of rolling out a substantial platform update that changes the underlying mechanics of the OS which caused AT&T to choose to wait a few months to release on the new framework rather than investing the time and resources into writing an app that would be obsolete before it paid off.

That is just what I've read, but it makes sense if true. There's no reason that AT&T would neglect the largest streaming platform just for lulz.

Yes, the 3 months prepay for a free Apple TV is true and applies to any of the packages, including the $35 package. Once the substantive website goes live, the direct link for that offer is https://directvnow.com/appletv (currently just takes you to a password protected login page).

Also, if you sign up for the 100 channel $35 package (regularly $60/month), you're grandfathered into that price as long as you don't let the service lapse.
