Well, you gotta be on the ball snatching up deals. Off the top of me head...(yes, I'm a leprechaun)

- $275...i7 6700k
- $25.....CPU cooler
- $100...mobo your choice
- $175...32gb DDR4
- $520...GTX 1080
- $70.....PSU
- $60.....256gb SSD
- $50.....1tb HDD
- $30.....DVD/CD drive

$1305 with no case ($10+) or Windows ($10)...but, more powerful and hopefully your taste in cases is better than the Acer design staff.

Noya, you tried hard brother but as you see it's really hard to build one for that awesome price Costco is offering. You also forgot to include a premium sound card.

My Singh gangsta, I'd just buy this predator tower from Costco. I was looking at it myself and think it's an amazing deal for the money. It's really hard as you saw to build something similar for less and the days of deals has passed. 6700k vs 6700 will not make a difference in gaming and only will if you're after overclocking because of unlocked multiplier.

I saw the backlit keyboard and mouse for this setup too which was surprisingly decent.

Lastly, Costco does two years warranty by default. You could use your black Costco citi visa card and add two more years to that for a total of 4 years. This should give you peace of mind if there's any doubt about Acer. I personally trust the modern Acer wholeheartedly! They have come a long long way.

yea I agree. I was also looking at the cyberpower deal for about 1100 with 6700k + 1070 and was thinking of transferring the building to a different case. But 4 years of Costco's bulletproof warranty is just too tempting. Plus more I read about things most ppl are saying i5 6600k and 1070 is the sweet spot for gaming where u get most bang for your buck. Once I get off work i will see what i5 and 1070 with decent components comes upto.

I'm one of those people as well. I personally recommend an i5 as well if your strapped for cash. But if not, an i7 never hurts.

I got mine from cyberpower. Was a bit cheaper and no tax. Factor in tax and Costco deal isn't so hot

I read some reviews that said there is limited room for upgrade in the AG3 and AG6.

Also keep in mind, the AG3 comes with Acer Predator mouse and keyboard.

And AG6 comes with Acer Predator mouse and Predator Flare mechanical keyboard.

The AG6 also comes with 1080 gtx and the i7 6700K (unlocked overclocking version of the 6700), a larger 730W PSU, and 2TB HDD instead of 1TB HDD, but the AG6 sells for $1,699 plus tax.

I think the case looks stupid and reviews say they have limited potential for upgrading components, but the price seems decent vs. building your own if these are the components you want, and of course costco warranty even on computers is ridiculously good.
