During checkout, if you do not need the required parts at extra cost, please uncheck that option, however selecting this also cancels the free setup option offered by Sears.

People having smell problems with front loaders just need to do their whites last and use a little bleach, then don't close the door all the way. I've had 4 sets over the last 20+ years and never had a smell problem.

You can also run an empty load once a month with a half cup of bleach poured in and a small amount of detergent.

I own this particular washer. See the little door on the lower left? You have to periodically open that, pull out a hose, drain the water from the washer and remove and clean a hair filter. I have to do it 2x a month. Pain in the A to do it without a pedestal as the hose is only about 4" long.

Good luck to you if you need warranty service. I had a minor leak and had to schedule it three times for an 8-12 window, only to have them tell me the early calls ran over so it'd be after 4, when I'm not available. The last time they did the same thing but they guy showed up unexpectedly right after 12.

However the leak is still there. Just smaller.

As an FYI Kenmore stuff is made by LG now, used to be Whirlpool. So no comparing these to your 10-15 year old Kenmore experience.

I did get the power company rebate on these, it was $50 in my area.

I went to specs on washer and
"Thanks to this top-load washing machine's ENERGY STAR certification, you can rest easy knowing you're using less resources while still getting a deep clean."

This is a very good deal. I also have $12 in surprise points plus I get $111.00 worth of points for this purchase. Combined that with local utility rebates(can't tell if these are energy star) and you can be out the door for a max of $750 including tax plus $111.00 in points. Around here I might be able to get it for $600 with local rebates. Too bad I just took delivery of my new w&d this morning.

It's not letting me apply the $50 off Kenmore code. Good deal that I will debate to get or not.

Price seems right but reviews about not having heat settings on different dry modes steered me away. Thanks for posting though.
