many of us bought this last week, I hope to get mine tomorrow. It's been going in and out of stock the last two weeks, there have been multiple threads already about it.

Anyone thinking about buying this, look for the previous threads, there is discussion about getting 7 years warranty coverage for $30 more, usefulness as a gaming/productivity monitor, etc.

i would have to search and look just the same as you. in any case i think each thread has some part of the discussion, and without knowing what yo want to know i couldn't tell you which one anyway, even if particular discussions were in just one.

the 7 year warranty, briefly, comes from combining buying square trade with using the costco visa card. costoc adds a year to automattically, that's two, then square trade covers 3-5, then citi covers 6-7

Currently the only active "deal" for this TV. I am hesitant to buy because I want to use it as a monitor and I am still not sure if its good for that purpose. This seller has a replacement only return and so I don't want to risk it.

This TV was as low as $245 this BF. I should have bought it then. But I was waiting for a high-end monitor deal under $500 and that never happened. So I am back to buying a 4k TV for a PC monitor)

Thanks for the post. I ordered this the first time Costco had it and it arrived with the glass shattered. I have been waiting for it to come into stock so I could order a replacement. Was finally able.

This depends on how close you sit to it and whether or not you play video games. The problem is that HDMI is not really designed to carry the Hz signals that PC transmits. Typical PC Hz is 60, while typical HDMI on cheaper TVs is normally 30hz. My monitor on my pc is 144hz. Some people feel that 30hz pc is fine, but then don't really know what is causing their headaches...

When I click the link I see it as out of stock. Can you tell me when you were able to place this order? Thanks.

Is there much HDR content available? Does HDR only work with 4K TVs, or will it enhance 1080 displays also?

I did a bit of research for you. I stand corrected. This 4k tv supports 60hz over HDMI.

"it is actually GREAT as PC monitor because it supports 4K@60Hz and Chroma 4:4:4 with low input lag in game mode of no more than 36ms"

Note: 36ms is not low input lag these days. My monitor is 2ms input lag. This will make no difference to you unless you like to play FPS / TPS games.

Before midnight last night. Possibly keep eye on the link whether it will come back in stock as somebody said it goes in and out of stock.
Now I am torn, I checked this morning and I am entitled for the the Samsung Save@Work Employee Purchase Program. I can have the 50" version for $395 plus tax. Decisions...
