Just chatted with support about this. The subscription will stack as long as it's the same product you're buying (i.e. if you have Total Security 2016, activating a Total Security 2017 key will stack with your current subscription).

Hope this helps.

How does this work for existing subscriptions? I still have 6 months left on my subscription - can I buy now and apply in 6 months, or add now and have 18 months of coverage? Thanks.

Should be 18 months - extended to your current expiration date. I had 60 days left and by activating the new code it just extended.

I actually bought this yesterday after seeing the deal was still alive. I went with the 5 devices, but then saw another thread featuring the 10 devices. Is there any reason to go with the 10 besides a family where everyone has stuff? I tried to think of situations where a single person would need more than 5 and I couldn't come up with any plausible (at least for me).

Anyway, good deal on great software OP.

TotalSecurity works on Mac, and even Android. Scroll down and select Mac OS to see what it offers:

I've been using Kaspersky the last year due to deals that made it free or nearly free, but I've always been happy with Bitdefender and generally prefer it. I usually jump on the 3 device/2 year deals for $20, but my Kaspersky is running out in a couple months, so I jumped on this. Good antivirus that won't bog down your system is worth a few bucks, at least on Windows. I don't mind supporting a good company.

I use (and have been happy with) the free version of Bitdefender for my security needs in combination with Comodo's free firewall. Those of you who use the paid version of Bitdefender's products: What additional benefits are you getting besides suppressing the (very occasional) reminder that a paid version exists? TIA

The last Antivirus I got for m6 parents was bitdefender. It seemed pretty good, but that was 2 years ago when it expired and they were on the built in Antivirus with windows 10. They had apsolutely no issues.

Just curious on your thoughts why the one in Windows is not enough.
