I bought one last year and have been very happy with it. Great option if you don't want to spend $400+ on a Vitamix.
ALDI has a 90 day return policy.
Powerful 1500W motor can crush, blend, puree and more
8-cup BPA-free pitcher
5-year warranty

Considering refurbs are practically new and carry the same warranty and can be had often for $275ish I'd say spend the little extra cash on the real deal.

FWIW the $40 pressure cooker i got at aldi compares very favorably to the $100 well reviewed instant pot pressure cooker that always gets posted here. if my blendtec wasn't still going strong after 7 years i'd jump on this especially with that return policy and 5 year warranty

Compares favorably in independent testing, or compares favorably in your opinion? I'm shopping for a pressure cooker.

no clue if there's been any independent testing, but i got mine based on a post and recommendation by other SDers. the IP has a few extra bells and whistles (which is why i use it instead of the aldi one, and keep the aldi as a backup) but performs the same when it comes to actual cooking

lets face it, the parts probably all come from the same chinese factory anyways

Probably ... you never realize how screwed consumers are until you watch shark tank and hear the prices for what something costs to make vs what they sell it for. It makes me angry, especially since I was in the restaurant/food service industry for years and you have to kill yourself to eek out a small profit from the small margins ppl will pay, but some ass clown can make a plastic piece of crap for a nickel and sell it for $12.

I just got this last week and it has done amazingly well so far. I think for $70 it can't be beat. it left my kitchen aid in the dust and from what I've seen on YouTube does just as well as vitamix. If your Aldi still has one it's worth checking out for the next 60 days risk free Smilie

Like someone shopping at ALDI would consider $200+ a "little extra cash" LMAO
