Hi. I bought the black Friday special delta table saw with stand online for in store pick up. Went in store. Asked to return and rebuy to burn some store credit. Lucky me, price dropped to 199. Was 229 black Friday. Seems like a sold deal for a delta Table saw and stand.

Delta Saw, Delta 36-6022, 10 in 15 amp, with stand [homedepot.com]

Possibly ymmv, but it looks like ship to store and home may be possible, with some stores having it in stock.

Beats therigid fp deal by 100 bones, not too shabby.

Lowe's has the Kobalt portable table saw for $179, it's a great saw. You can still get a 10% off coupon to drop it to $161.00.

I like the rip fence on dewalt, one the best out there. My current one is only 20" rip capacity, next one I buy I will make sure it is 24" if not close to 30".

I believe it may be the same saw as this Delta and some of the rigids as well. When I researched them last year I went with the Kobalt and it's worked really well once you make sure it's tuned.

the stand is easily worth 115-145. so a delta table saw for 85-50 bucks....awesome find.

Good luck finding one. It looks like a great deal, and I could use a new saw. Sucks.

The fence on that Lowes saw is a real design flaw once you go to a store and move it around. It will cost a lot in frustration, time, and ruined work pieces.

If this one was the Delta I'm remembering, I was impressed with the rip fence when I played around with the display model. Not cabinet saw quality by any means, but seemed better than average for the typical consumer grade jobsite saw.

IMO, at every price point, the rip fence makes or breaks a table saw.

I don't have a Dewalt and I love that rack and pinion rail system. But the fence itself was a deal breaker for me. Because the fence itself has that shelf and hinges it is not a flat, straight bar. So you can't build simple auxillary fences or a tall cuts sliding jig that every table saw needs to make accurate, safe cuts on tall pieces like tenon or rabbet cheek cuts.

I have a band saw, but owning a table saw that cannot have a sliding tenon jig absolutely means that you must own a band saw to make tall cuts.
Not to deter a Dewalt purchase, the designs are EXCELLENT. Just something to think about if you're doing rabbet, lap, bridal, or tenon joinery.

Yes it could be better but for what it cost I live with it. I haven't used it for anything that requires real precise cuts yet.

Can get them on eBay for a buck or two (if you are referring to the 10% off coupon).
