Anyone know how log these last on full charge? (Do I have to keep them plugged in every day or once a week, etc...)
Can you use standard AA batteries instead of rechargeable?
How does this compare to the 650?

Primary difference is rechargeable vs having to replace batteries on 650. Both good entry level harmony remotes

I have 2 of these and they are great! I just put 2 alkaline AA's in them. Skip the charging and it lasts for months.

Also wondering about the hub compatability!

I know Logitech has remote/hub sets and also sells hubs separately. Someone advised me I'd need another smart home hub (like the Samsung one) to make any Harmony remote/hub combo work with Google Home. It seems silly to need 2 hubs. Is there a standalone Harmony remote that will sync directly to the Samsung hub>Google Home?

I don't think they are "smart" Harmony remotes... It's a good remote. We have one in out workout room...... BUT we also have two Harmony Ultimates and a keyboard...Everytime I use the 700, I long for another ultimate remote in its place.
If you care a anything whatever about using Alexa or IFTTT, wait on a deal for a an Ultimate or better.

I have had the 650 which looks identical to the 700 except it's silver. The 2 Duracell AA batteries have not needed to be changed yet, since Feb 16, when I got it for $35 delivered on previous SD deal.

They're both 8 device remotes so I'm not sure what the 700 brings to the table above the 650.

got one this week, feels much better than my old 650 and hopefully doesn't have the loose battery issue.
