Neato Botvac Connected $499 @ Amazon

If you missed Black Friday, here's another chance. List is $799 and generally they go for around $649 to $699 online. $499 is the best I've seen.

Note that Amazon is currently out of stock. They are still taking orders and will ship when they come back in. I don't know what the ETA is so I wouldn't necessarily count on it before Christmas.

The reviews say it vacuums better than the top of the line Roomba 980 for a lot less money.

https://www.amazon.com/Neato-Botvac-Connected-Enabled-Vacuum/dp/B0168KHVZW [amazon.com] - now $499.99

I'm on the wait list...

Keep in mind the botvac d3 and d5 just came out which are priced more competitively than the original connected was. Not sure feature for feature how they compare but I'm sure that's why this is on clearance.

For folks wondering about feature differences between d3/d5 and connected:

"Both new vacuums lack the spiral blade brush of the Botvac Connected, while the D3 will also lack the extra side brushes. They'll also lack the multiple performance modes of the Botvac Connected, which could be switched into a battery-friendly eco mode or a clean machine turbo mode. The D3 will only have a standard filter, while the D5 will share Neato's ultra-performance filter with the Botvac Connected. Battery life will also be different — the D3 only lasts about a third of the Botvac Connected's 90 – 120 minute runtime, while the D5 will get nearly as much battery life as the Connected. The D3 will also lack spot cleaning and boundary markers, which allow you to create zones where the vacuum shouldn't go (say, the place where your pet usually does their business)."

so basically the newer gens are worse than this connected version (guess it's the top of the line of the last gens)?

D3 is worse while D5 is on par with a function that lets you find where the Near got stuck and mapping of where it vacuumed. I don't know if the D5 functions will be provided to the connect though.
