**If you have AGS as your shipper, make sure to call them and give them your contact number once you have a shipping confirmation. Apparently Samsung is not passing that information along to them most of the time**

Price on the 65" curved has dropped to $1149.99 w/EPP

******* EDIT. Price still shows $ 999.99
*** 12/29/2016. Here are THE NEW screenshot with cheaper prices. These prices are for direct Samsung employee. All prices are literally cheaper then the EPP prices. If anyone need to try to get price match or something.

Jan 1 and after Discover CashBack is now 5%. Better than nothing, but half what it was.

EPP Price Fluctuations

EPP Prices are a fixed discount off other retailers, the 65" KS8000 is $420 under what retailers are selling for that week, the 65" KS8500 is $450 under what retailers are charging.

I've been waiting for this to drop again, have been thinking of the 49" for a monitor as this series manages reflections incredibly well (my main beef with TVs as a monitor), and the curve will negate some of the up-close viewing issues (image fading when viewed at angle).
But, with the 55" just $50 more, now I'm stuck with a tough choice. I feel 49" is already pushing almost beyond resonable size (43" is about my max, but they don't make this quality of display in that size...the 6300 series has WAY to much reflection for my eyes and usability). So...seems like the 49", but who wouldn't spend $50 for another 6"?

If you can fit the 55" inches, go for it. I thought they wouldn't drop again for a while after going up from $799 with EPP for the 55".

Keep in mind if you buy the curved soundbar that it will not fit under the TV with the stands on. I forgot about that when measuring and deciding on getting the curved soundbar, I could not get it to fir as I had no space in front of the TV (the shelf it was on was too thin). I ended up mounting the TV on the wall because I wanted to keep that soundbar.

49" is too big for a monitor, I tried. 42" max. That being said, low is 1049 on BF/CM w/ EPP no cashback deal AFAIK.

I bit the bullet, bought the 55"...purchased with paypal credit, no interest for 12 months, so didn't get the nice Discover %10, but still got the 4% from other CB site. I started out looking at 34" and 38" curved monitors, and ended up with a 55" 4k tv LMAO
As for the sound bar, I'm putting this in my office, think I'll end up wall mounting it to get it further back from my desk. Don't plan on using a soundbar as I have surround speakers in the room, but thank you for the tip!

I just wish you hadn't pointed out that it was $100 cheaper at one point Mad laugh out loud

You may be right...the 40" 6300 was huge...but, then I also had it sitting on my desk...I'm hoping I can make a 55" work if mounted a bit further. I don't do a ton of gaming like I used too, really need it for managing multiple tasks, spreadsheets, and meetings telecommuting in home office.

I figure for the price, it will be much easier to offload a 55" than it would be a 49" if I decide it doesn't serve my purpose.

You have to have a discover card, and then login to your account and go to discover deals (you can find it under the "earn" menu. Lookup Samsung as a merchant and it will show the 10%. You can get that even if you don't have EPP.

Wait, where is the deal for $799???? I can't find that anywhere...are you sure you're not thinking about the non-curved KS8000?

I see TD showing bad price, so I'd love if someone would point out a better price to help keep us informed if in fact this is true.
