This is pretty good, for this laptop. There have been a lot of deals on different versions of this laptop lately. This is probably the best one if the 128gb SSD meets your needs and you don't want to swap drives. This may be a hybrid drive.

I suspect the signature version will be on sale again for $750 at Microsoft store over the next couple days with 8gb ram and just the 1tb sshd. That may be a better option if you want to add a bigger SSD.

Do you know if i upgrade RAM or SSD, Will it VOID Dell Warranty? Because if it does, then this is better deal.

There seems to be a bit of misinformation on this online. If this is a concern, chat with a Dell rep.

Personally I would probably just use a credit card that extends the warranty and, if neccessary, remove upgrades
before sending it to Dell for service.

This laptop is built for easy access to upgrade components, so I would be surprised if it would void the warranty.

It's most likely a m.2 drive for the ssd and 2.5 for the 1tb. For $100 more, this is a better deal than the MS store

Could be. Even if it's a hybrid drive, this is probably a better deal for people who don't want to do any upgrades themselves. (In an old Costco deal, some people got hybrid drives and some got separate drives when they ran out of hybrids.)

For people who know they will need to upgrade the SSD, a separate 128GB SSD will be a $60 paper-weight.

Why do they think 4k is good for a fifteen incher? Does anyone else? I think 1080 is good and even a bit small, but 4k seems to be insane.

I got the XPS12 with 4k screen but running it at 1080p to save battery life. I really don't see the use for 4k anything under 20"

Doesn't that make the visuals a bit odd? Or does the 4k is perfect for downsampling?

What exactly are people running at 4K? I'm looking for a gaming rig and it would seem as if 960 isn't enough to run a game with that kind of resolution at anything but low settings.
