The 25 inch ultrawide is awfully short. The 29 " ultrawide models are about as tall as a 24" 16:9, so the 25" is probably as tall as a 21" 16:9 monitor. If you are okay with the short height I'm sure you would like it, but personally I would go with something bigger for ultrawide or go with a regular monitor.

Thanks for the info. I'm coming from a 22" 1680x1050 monitor, actual screen size is 11.75".
I had a 27" monitor before that, but I hated having to move my head from side to side to see the whole screen.

Do you know of any other monitors, ~24", 2560x1080 or higher, around $150?

Isn't that 25" a weirdo resolution 2560x1080? Not true Quad HD?
Still itching to buy it though that seems like the best price for a 2560 monitor I've seen...

I just cancelled my order after reading the questions/answers.
Actual screen size is about 9.7".
I'm not in a rush, and hope a better deal comes along.

Nothing comes to mind. If you are getting a 2k monitor you will have to spend more than that unfortunately.

I figure its going to be more than $150, but you never know.
I'm got in on the E570 deal, so waiting for that to come in, so not in a real big rush.

it's actually much smaller. I have the 29"version and it feels like a 20", height-wise, so this one is tiny...the 25" kinda feels more like a 19" or so in person. seriously though? it's incredibly useful! I think this is better than cyber week deals!

it's really, really useful. only problem is it's kinda small. gotta sit close.

it's not even close to quad, but it's really useful for basic spreadsheets and games, or even movies with a 21:9 aspect ratio
