Does any Ni-MH charger work with this? I have not bought rechargeable batteries in years and I have an ancient energizer charger http://data.energizer.com/PDFs/chm4fc.pdf. I wonder if technology has changed where I need a new charger?

I didn't see batteries without a charger at my Costco. Do they all have them?

Any NiMH battery can be recharged in any NiMH charger, no matter the brand. Caveat: Use an INTELLIGENT charger, NOT a "timer based"(dumb) charger, to get the maximum life and capacity out of your batteries. An intelligent charger will cost you more up front, but you will realise savings in longer, more useful life from your batteries.

Not all Costco's carry the same items. Also, they could be with the gifts/toys in seasonal.

My Costco has them both. However, I'm pretty sure they are ten packs. I remember because I did the math and they were $2 a battery which is a good deal.

To add to this, there are some very affordable chargers out there (such as an xtar xt4) that are pretty good and cover a wide range of lithium batteries as well.

Exactly, I just didn't want to overwhelm with information. I use charger/analysers myself, that cover NiMH, NiCd, and Li Ion batteries in any cylindrical cell configuration. Thanks for the additional information. Rep'd

Costco in W. Plano TX only had the AAs (was looking for AAAs), but price was not marked. They also had the charger/combo pack with 8 AAs and 4 AAs, but it no longer comes with carry case, just packed in cardboard/plastic.

Hopefully AAAs will come around to all stores, $20 is a good price.

8 AA + 4 AAA + Charger = $19.99 (expired on 12/11 Frown)
10 AA = $19.99
12 AAA = $19.99
