Apparently the "one per household" goes back indefinitely. I bought this pack last year and now I'm ineligible for purchase... Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Probably won't do business with JMB again unless someone can help me understand this ridiculous policy?

It's a "starter pack" and is surely intended to get you to become a customer (but is available to existing customers if you haven't bought this before), they're losing money on it. They are a good company to do business with and have good specials weekly - I rarely find better prices elsewhere so I wouldn't cast them aside just because they limit this loss leader to 1 per household.

Companies have loss leaders every week. I've experienced (and understand) the one purchase per customer/per sale. But considering they only do this once or twice a year, I don't see the point in being so strict. It'd be like Best Buy saying I can only buy ONE video game under $60 for as long as I'm a customer. Bad example maybe but you get the point.

They're selling metals.

You can't really get cheap versions of metals like can can consumer goods. You don't need to clear shelf space for new stuff or seasonal items. It doesn't have technology that is made obsolete by newer technology and hence needs to be sold. Their whole business is basically margins.

Perfect time to buy, when no one wants them and they're cheap. The last recession silver nearly touched $50/oz. That would be over 200% increase from today's prices, pretty good return even if it took 10 years.

I'm in - repped and thanks.

I suspect they see a drop in prices coming and are unloading the stock they have while at least getting a new account signup at the same time. The price difference versus what you would normally pay for ten rounds is well worth for them what it normally costs to hook a guaranteed customer/contact/sale. Still, a good deal for dragons.

What's the consensus of JM Bullion's reputation? My experience is limited to Monex and APMEX.
