I think I paid $15 on day one even though with any other game I would have waited for an inevitable sale, both because I love Sid's games and because I love up front pricing (as opposed to nickle and diming), and don't regret it a bit. The best strategy game on mobile. If you can take it on its own terms and not hate it for failing to be desktop civilization, you'll love it.

Civ revolution was not very good in my opinion. Adding units and enhancing graphics would not make the second version good, they would need to redesign the game rules as well.

As an old Alpha Centauri fan (debated on trying to get it to run on a tablet using a DosBox/Win95 or hoping for an Android port of the Linux version) - what did you dislike about it? Hadn't even realized they had an Android Civ game finally, sadly it sounds like "finally" rather than "let's make a great new game". Sadwalk

I don't know if Civ rovolution was ever on Android, I played it on Playstation, it was later released on iPhone and Windows Phone. In my experience the game was too simplistic. Console game was not portable, so choosing between aging version of Civilization and newer released Civ Revolution, the aging Civilization won by far. As a phone game you would have different expectations, so.

Wouldn't even try a Civ game on a phone. A good game is a good game, so I'll just read a book rather than play a mediocre game. I never have enough time to do as much as I would like of either, let alone both. laugh out loud

this is a good price for this game. I paid $10 more than a year ago, it plays ok on the phone but played really well on my Nexus 7. I have enjoyed this game, admittedly not as feature packed as the PC version but fun game to kill time.

Played it and could never figure out how to use standoff weapons such as archers. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
