Michelin Tires at Costco

The $70 off deal is back on again until 1/29. Combine this with the $25 off online coupon code (posted elsewhere on SD). I picked up a set for $95 off. Not a smokin' deal but Michelin tires (many, not all) are rated highly.

would jump on this deal but found cheaper ones at DT. Costco doesn't price match.

any other ways to lower the price? need new tires but need a better incentive

Thank you for sharing.

When you mentioned the $25 off coupon, are you referring to this thread? According to the terms, "Ineligible purchases include... tires." I haven't tried the coupon; does it work on tires?

Thank you,
Tofu Vic

I prefer buying tires at DT because they have plenty locations across US. Last time, my tire blew up 600 miles away from home, went to the nearest DT, and they put the new tire, without any issues (i had the replacement certificate for those tires). Costco has fewer locations.

Yes it works on tires online. I used one of those codes for the previous Bridgestone deal

Put defenders on my Mazda 3, loved them so much put them on my Audi Q5. Initially introduced to Michelin when I got Destiny tires put on my Jetta for less than $200 via slickdeals. They grip well, quiet, fantastic in all weather conditions, and the tread lasts forever. Never had an issue with braking. Occasional slippage when I try to quickly accelerated from a red light.

Yes, it worked for me. In the cart it showed $70 off then I used a code from that post and then it went to $95.

Same--going to wait for the additional $60 rebate (essentially cancels out the installation charge) for executive customers.

No point in only getting $25 when the tires themselves aren't always super competitive at Costco.

I put them at a close second behind Pirelli, but Costco doesn't carry Pirelli, unfortunately.
