Yeah it was $699.99 on Friday and on the website. Saw it was $50 cheaper today, but no trace of it on the website to be able to use the $25 off coupon.

great monitor but overpriced

with 4k ultrawide with HDR coming with gsync 144hz next year i am going to wait..

I run a xb270hu calibrated with i1.. Great monitor for gaming with a 1080 , however now that we have muti port HDMi 2.0 and PS4 , xbox one slim taking advantage of HDR , i would wait.
I would not pay more than 550 new.
i also have been sporting 144hz gsync since last year. 165hz one the xb271 is overrated and really not needed. I actually bought these monitors a while back and returned them and kept my xb270HUs

Used to be my thoughts, but if you use screens for hours a day, good ones are worth it.

Just like a $1,000 Herman Miller office chair...can sit for hours yet stand up and feel completely refreshed.

I feel lucky that I don't play games! 2k monitors without G-sync and 144hz are half of this price.

When does the sale end? Can't find it on their website and looks like they are closed on New Year's Day.

really in all seriousness , everyone here is better off getting a 4k korean monitor

32" IPS for 369.00 until this summer when HDR 4k is readily available. Gsync is nice though ..I just think 649+tax is way overpriced since new tech is coming within a few months. If this deal was 6-8 months ago i would say get it now.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/QNIX-UHD3...Swt7ZXo0Mt

I bought the omen 32" for 300.00 this BF , nice monitor and can be calibrated just as good as my XB270hu , however it sucks when hooking up a console. It looks like crap at 1080p.. Having 4k native for xbox one slim and ps4 pro will look amazing and play perfectly with these consoles. You just have to deal with AMD now and their video cards. for freesync

I like geforce now and streaming to my nvidia shield and have always been a nvidia fanboy.
I have a feeling gsync will drop even more as newer freesync monitors come available.
btw i am returning the omen 32" 2k . .

also the new LG panels will blow away everything on the market. in 6 months or less when it comes to color reproduction and playback of 4k ultra HD blurays on PCs . Everything else is just crap what is going to be shown off at CES 2017 in a few days. Unless you can buy a 34" ultrawide Gsync predator for 700.00 now i would wait for sure.

The new display is called the 32UD99 and it sports a very roomy 32 inch screen while also offering support for full HDR10 high dynamic range specifications of the type normally only found in the latest 4K HDR TVs. This means full native 10-bit color for over 1 billion colors and wide color gamut coverage of a whopping 95% of the DCI-P3 color space standard. In addition to these specs, the UD99 also offers the wider contrast levels and richer blacks of HDR10 standards while coming with assorted professional color calibration settings that many pro users will love. LG is promising "professional-grade picture quality" in the UD99 and the company beefs their promotion of the new monitor further still by also claiming a level of color reproduction accuracy that is "unmatched in the industry".

In other words, if the hype is to be believed (and based on the published specs for the UD99 it should be to at least a major extent), the 32UD99 is going to be one excellent PC monitor choice for graphic designers and video editors who work with 4K HDR content in particular.

This is their new regular price. Apparently they haven't been selling very well. This is the second regular price drop in 2 weeks.

Thx. That's good to know, I bought mine last month or 2 for $800. Going to do a repurchase now.
