A low end TV is a low end TV. It's this cheap for a reason. And yes, a midrange 1080p set is probably going to look better than a cheap washed out LG. Really, the only TVs from LG that I've ever been impressed with are their OLEDs and plasmas (RIP). Everything else seems to have horrible contrast and doesn't handle fast motion well.

Same question, I see the 60hz vs 120hz refresh rate but thought I read somewhere all 4k TV's are 60hz with upscaling (not certain by any means on this)
