Big Sky Tools deal of the day, lowest price I've seen, very popular starter miter saw.

Plus ~$12 in shipping, I still think it's pretty good.

that is a pretty good deal.this is about 140 at lowes. I have a 12" from harbor freight but a pain to lug around so may just get this as a backup or for smaller cuts.

looks good, I'm spoiled by lasers and sliders though.

EDIT: this is a decent deal, not a killer deal. I have the C12FDH and can recommend that saw. I'd go with a 12" compound miter. I would only consider a 10" saw if it were a slider.

What if I need to cut a trim board 45 degrees both ways ( angled and beveled). Or if it needs to be vertical for some reason? I imagine the laser would help outline the exact cut through the entire piece.
