I think I like the Newegg deal with the i7 and gtx 1070 for $1050 a little bit more.

That's pretty hot with 512 GB SSD and 16 GB RAM.

This is a pretty good deal, I did a quick build of this on pcpartpicker for $956. Granted I didn't do any extreme shopping, but this is a good deal esp since you save a bunch of time shopping.

Those reply are valid if you can build it for cheaper but you can't in this case.

1060 is good enough unless you want to jump to 1440 or 4k gaming.

1060 OC'd is good enough for 1440P, likely overkill for 1080P (Last gen GTX 960 is sufficient for 1080P gaming). My further-OC'd Gigabyte Windforce OC 1070 runs modern demanding games in 4k on maxed settings at 35-40 fps.

If I didn't already have that 1070 in my Dell XPS 8900 w i7-6700, I would jump on this deal. My set up cost me about $1050 OTD, same as the Newegg 1070 desktop deal mentioned above, though I had to install my own SSD.

It's a solid deal no doubt, and building it cheaper isn't really a thing since most of the materials in this aren't the best quality. the PSU is probably garbage, the ram is generic, MOBO is basic, and the GPU probably has a decent bit of coil whine, if not a full on blower. Know what you're buying when you go prebuilt.

Wish I had $900 to spend. This is exactly what I've been looking for, but just a little out of my budget. So tempting, though!
