I see $359. Am I missing a coupon code?
No, you're missing how to read a calendar.

Is this a great price? I remember the target deal last year which was 300 and under but very YMMV. Plus i don't have time machine. is this worth it at this price?

Same item was a +48 FP Deal in November 2016.

I think $314 is the lowest price this has been.

Great price for this, I would have preferred a new one when the difference was less than $50, but for $315, not bad!!!

Now the real question.... P3S refurb for $315 or the P3A new for $570. Both are great deals!

I'm a pretty serious RC hobbyist and I've flown my fair share of helicopters (which I think are are waaaaaay harder to control) but I've never had a drone before. At these prices, I think I might have to jump on a P3S at the least, but I'm wondering if the range and cheap-O remote will be limiting....also I think the camera in the P3A has a Sony sensor, not that it would make much of a difference.

What do you guys think, is it worth the extra ~$255 for a new P3A over a refurb P3S?

This is a pretty good deal. Since it is sold shipped by DJI it has a regular warranty as well.

The Advanced has much better range and is less susceptible to interference from wifi and other common sources of RF. If those are important to you, spend the extra $$$.

Waiting for P3 advanced. Anyone buying P3 standard will eventually feel the need of advanced for obvious reasons.

I owned the P3S for a while and its amazing. You shouldnt be flying out of line of site range anyway, so IMO, the P3A isnt worth it.

Unless you have a specific need for the extra range, especially with new range extenders for the P3S being so cheap, its not needed. They use the same motors, fly just as fast, and believe me you can be out of range that you can even see it within a few seconds.

In addition to what the poster above stated, the Advanced also has a more advanced GPS system as well as additional FPS options at 1080/720.

P3A is worth it just for the lightbridge, the range you can argue that you shouldnt be flying out of LOS. but think of it more of a safety margin. plus lightbridge suffers less from external interference and better video latency
