*****YMMV - So far I haven't seen anyone else post saying they could replicate this deal, so remember that with b&m, YMMV! ( brick-and-mortar, your mileage may vary)*****

Good day all - was browsing my local HD for Christmas stuff when I came across the Ring Doorbell in their clearance section for $50.03.
Again, this is IN STORE, hence YMMV.

Here are links to the picture of the item in store (there were two, I bought both, plan on selling the other to make up the cost)

And here is a picture of the receipt:

Again, YMMV, but otherwise, this is easily the best deal I have seen. Good luck all!

why you buying Christmas lights now?
Probably because they are like 75-90% off. Nice even if you just need LEDs for projects.

That is exactly why - as the receipt image shows, I got the light and sound kit that will make my lights coordinate to the music for $25, while it is normally $100, so next Christmas, I'll finally have dancing lights, which I've wanted for a while Smilie

A good question : P
Best time to buy Christmas lights is affter Christmas, as they are massively discounted. They had the 'App Lights' brand on sale for 75% off, so a normally $60 priced set of lights was $15.
Once/if/when it makes it to 90% off, I may actually pick some of those up, but yea, that is neither here nor there. Embarrassment

Just saw this in one of our two HD stores today... pretty sure it was full price.

Will check the other one on the way to work tomorrow.

As a heads up, afaik, there usually is ZERO correlation between .com and instore clearance pricing at HD. The is a direct link for Lowe's however.

When I view my store online, it says my store doesn't carry it...which is likely now true, since I bought the last two I could see.
When I switch to another nearby store, it shows the $199 price, but I've no idea if it would actually be in the Clearance section or not were I to go there, and it is both too late and out of my way, so I'm unlikely to drive by to check. Now I just have to get my Ebay or Amazon set up to sell my spare on.

Usually, they are clearance priced at all the store in an immediate geography. It'll be unlikely that say, upstate NY would have the same pricing. Just as Boston isn't he same as me.

Now, not all stores actually get prices updated perfectly on time with the drop. And I'm not sure if there's a back room button click to accept the new pricing on a per store basis.

Buy me a couple if you find a horde!
