This type of antenna might work in a city, within 15 or 20 miles to broadcast towers... Spotty at best in suburbs, especially if towers are on the other side of the city... absolutely worthless in most rural areas... Don't expect to get signal from towers more than 25 or 30 miles, even on a good day...

IMHO, this isn't worth the effort or money unless you live in a city apartment, and can't put up a real antenna.

Yeah, because 4K over-the-air broadcasting is currently a 'thing,' right?

Anyone have first hand experience with this model? Any better choices available for slightly more?

III have been looking for something. Why are there no larger sizes (add'l fractals and bowties) which should receive a better signal? I have a ton of space but all of these seem to be the same with perhaps a better amp and cable/fittings.

I got a similar one recently. It's strange, when I turn on the amplifier it gets less channels

I'd rather get the Mohu Leaf (made in Raleigh), but I'm not paying $50 more than this for one. Amazon sells refurbed Mohu's for $34.99 - and I loaned one of these to my sister. Picture looks rock solid - I can't wait to see how it looks on a 4K TV.

Going to give this a shot. Looking to cut the cord, and Kodi with addon's is filling most of the needs we have. But we do need to get local channels also.
