Wish I knew if I could part out the video card . Would make this about 550.

Looks like you can - to sell on eBay and still have onboard video.

Bjs.com is a scam, i tried to order their cyberpowerpc deal 4 times and it got canceled everytime due to payment processing issues. Called my credit card company they said it was being charged then refunded everytime. Tried a different credit card, same thing. They put out these deals to attract people to their site and don't deliver. You can check their reviews on resellerratings, a ton of people have the same exact complaint.

You got HDMI and DP ports available running the CPU's integrated grx. You would be fine without the grx card. Just note, the RX 480 you get may have a special underclock or odd heating solution in order to get the card size down to fit this chasis. Dell may have worked with AMD on their own rx 480 solution, so the card you pull from this unit may possibly be worth less than your average rx 480 4gb on ebay. Or heck, if someone needs smaller dimensions it may be worth more.

Anyone know the exact rx 480 unit in this (brand, model #)?

if all you want is the pc without the gpu and you have a micro center nearby, building this system would cost you about $475-500 without having to sell a card you know nothing about that has most likely no transferable warranty

I'd stay away from Acer like a mosquito research facility that's had a zeka outbreak

It is probably a issue with your Credit Card. Bj's Wholesale is a pretty reputed and well known shop and here for pretty long time. And they are not at all any scam.

Did you read what i wrote? Or did you just assume without reading. I tried 2 different cards, nevermind the fact that they both said it was being charged then refunded. I trust multiple people at resellerratings and numerous other testimonials from people online more then one single person.

I bought this few days ago. Runs everything TITS in 1080p
Saves time building a computer. Only problem I came across was no OPTICAL audio out. Also, default windows install was CRAMMED with bloatware. Extracted the Win10 key and fresh installed. Runs amazing. Boots in literally 2 seconds. Other than that cant complain. I will upgrade ram when I get a few extra dollars. For now 8gb is good enough. Anyone know max speed of the ram this mother board can handle?

I had a copy of windows 10 laying around. But you would just have to do a quick google search for the software to extract win 10 key.

Multi drive dvdrw $15
1tb hdd $40
8gb ram $35
rx480 $200
500w psu $40
Case $30
Win 10 license $20
$380 on the barebones alone, and you could probably shop a better deal on the gpu and put the savings towards 16gb ram

Add $120 for amd cpu/mobo or $250 for intel set. you'd be under cost and could drop in an ssd and better power supply and still spend less than the prebuilt

not to mention acer uses crap mobo, crap psu , etc. if we're using acer grade parts build cost changes

Multi drive dvdrw $10
1tb hdd $30
8gb ram $30
rx480 $180
500w psu $20
Case $20
$310 barebones cost including win 10. you'd have $290 to spare for cpu/mobo alone. and do you really want to power an i7 and rx480 with a $20 psu the way acer does?
curious as where you can get a windows 10 license for $20
