NOTE: Everyone should check the rebate status of their Symantec Norton Anti-Virus purchase as rebates are being denied by the system due to "Invalid UPC" regardless if the software was purchased as a digital download or physical copy. I will contact Staples CS tomorrow regarding this but everyone else should do the same so they know it's a system wide issue that needs to be automatically fixed for everyone.

^I got that on one of my 2 Staples/Norton rebates, and a different but completely bogus rejection on the second. Chat with the Parago rebate representative came back with "unexpected system problem". YOU BETTER CHECK YOUR REBATE, OR YOU PROBABLY WONT GET IT. Needless to say, Staples needs to find a better rebate processor, as this one is incompetent (at best).

Unfortunately it's not the d/l, we still have to pay tax so even with cash back, it's about a 3-4% loss converting gift cards to cash. I might still bite! laugh out loud Thanks.

Damn, is that 5-ream going to have a coupon again? It's getting harder to unload all the paper when that deal keeps rolling through. Stick Out Tongue

So often I hear that Norton is a memory hog. Has anything changed with recent versions that make purchasing it now worthwhile? I really need a solid antivirus and online security product. If this one isn't it, any other suggestions?

I used antivir free editions for years. Norton is famous for its product too.
