Of course this comes a week after I just activated the 3 month plan, any idea how long the promo code will be good? I'd like to wait until 45 days before my current plan expires since that's the activation limit.

Looking at all their past promo codes, it may not last for a week.

Yes, This is ultra mobile mvno which is tmobile mvno... so tmobile ---> Ultra ---> Mint

The only drawback is 12 months prepayment. What if company gets bankrupt in between?

Why does a mvno create another mvno to compete with themselves?

I think there is a way. I'm working with the customer service to port my 3 months plan to 12 months plan. They said they will call me back in sometimes with an answer. If not just port the number to GV and come back to Mint.
