I'm getting $6.99 shipping... I'm out of town this weekend and can't go in store to buy. Do they offer an in-store pickup option.

Still sounds like a good deal even with the shipping included. Anyone have personal experience with this floor jack?

I have one under my jet ski my neighbor loaned me. It is over 10 years old and seems decent.

Never mind, just remembered that my car weighs more than 3000 lbs. so this will not work for me.

Plus shipping needs to be in the title.

Would think finding it locally would be YMMV at best.

You drive an armored vehicle ? ....since most cars (minus some high-end luxury models) do not weigh over 3,000 lbs.
A Chevy Cruze weighs over 3000lbs. Where do you live?

The jack will not be lifting the full weight of the car at one time.

Quite a number of cars weigh close to or over 3,000 lbs. But, it's not like these jacks are lifting the entire vehicle up at once. You life the front or rear and you still have two tires on the ground. It's not recommended that you use two (or four) floor jacks to lift an entire vehicle off the ground.

So, I'm confused by that poster's comments as well.

Curb weight of a Ford Escape is over 3000 lbs... It's a compact SUV. Now that I think about it, this floor jack might not even be high enough for a compact SUV.

You guys are right, forgot about that. Will only be lifting one corner at a time.

But if shipping is flat rate, $7 might not be a bad deal.

I bought the 3 ton low profile jack and that sob is like 73 lbs. The width of the box did not help. I can handle it, but for elderly or disabled folks, the $7 for shipping might be worth every penny.

Great...but the total price still needs to be clearly noted (esp. since it doesn't appear to be any in-store checker on the website).

All those "elderly and disabled folks" purchasing a racing jack would also probably appreciate that.

I use this jack with my Mazda3 that weighs 3300 lbs.
It works fine. Jack each corner of the car up and put it on stands or jack the front up and put stands on and then jack the rear up and put stands on.
Remember your car has 4 wheels. The weight of your vehicle is distributed between these 4 wheels.

Overweight Item subject to $14.95 additional Freight Charge.
That is in the product overview. I didn't try adding to cart to see though.
