This one checks a lot of boxes for the price. Yes, it's missing 8GB of ram and the 256GB HD, but for some looking for a 1080p screen, 2 in 1, 13.3", and SSD, it does pretty good at just under $400 plus tax. Plus it's new with full warranty. May be worth checking out in store.
Video below how to upgrade the ram and SSD. Very easy to get inside this unit.

Yes you can upgrade the SSD and Ram. It is not as easy as some other laptops as you have to carefully remove a lot of screws. Here is the service manual:

Guys this is a good laptop. I have been using this for a year now and can vouch for it.

1. I bought the I7 varient for 250 more during that time with 256 GB SSD and 8 GB ram.
2. You can change your SSD / RAM.
3. Its not tough to change it, remove the screws to open the back panel and you will see both SSD & RAM visible which can be removed and you can replace with upto 16 GB ram and any capacity SSD.
4. It doesnt support M2 drive
5. Its a 13.3 inch display and its pretty light weight thus making more sense as tablet mode as well.
6. I currently run a Windows 10 on this machine.
7. Till now there has been zero issues
8. I removed the OS provided by Dell and installed a fresh install for better performance
9. I have a 128 GB USB3.0 drive on the laptop to provide more storage
10. Battery life is pretty decent for this size and less weight laptop. Cant ask for more.
11. If you have questions shoot.

i need a computer for graduate classes. Will this be good for that application? I'm not familiar with the 2 in 1 laptops. What is the main difference in that and a regular laptop?

Good catch. It was in the Sunday ad, so I'd bet Best Buy would PM. They carry this for $649.

Looking for a gaming laptop for my son. He's not a heavy gamer but wants to play beamng drive and his current laptop is inadequate. Would this fit the bill. I know nothing about what he needs.
