Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker (Refurbished)
This palm-size speaker pumps out room-filling sound from Bluetooth-enabled devices and plug-in MP3 players alike.

Bluetooth: Stream Wireless Music, Internet Radio, and Podcasts
Bluetooth lets you stream wireless music from an enabled mobile device, leaving you free to mingle with guests, clean the house, or do yoga—all without interrupting the music. Moreover, Bluetooth plays your favorite songs over the system's speakers, filling the room with richer sound than most smartphones, tablets, or laptops can.

Dynamic Sound
Thanks to Bose's signature sound quality, the SoundLink Mini pumps out rumbling bass and fluttering highs despite its compact size. Listen to party playlists and podcasts without worrying about missing a beat.

Voice Enabled
Rather than clicking through menus, set up your Bluetooth link with the speaker's voice prompts. The prompts make the pairing process quick and easy for each new device. Plus, thanks to the built-in mic and speakerphone, you can take calls hands-free and then go back to listening to tunes.

Want to lower the price even more? Try using Groupon Promo Codes.

You might be able to use additional Groupon promo codes to lower the price, YMMV:

** "SALE3" (might have ended)
** "HELLO25" (first Groupon purchase) up to 25% off - limits apply
etc.
** "WELCOME" (use this code for $10 off purchases of $25 - new customers only
** "NEWU20" (new Groupon customers can save 20% off local deals with this code at checkout. Maximum discount $50).

Note: I have not had many Groupon promo codes work for me on Goods, other than the "Sale3". So, YMMV.

Note that this is the original version w/ the proprietary power brick (and connection) as opposed to the second version with the micro USB connection.

This might not be a big deal since I don't imagine too many people travel with this type of speaker because it's not waterproof (or resistant) and a bit big to carry regularly in a bag. Something like the Anker Soundcore Sport might be better for that anyway.

I agree, this is more of a around the house speaker, and it weighs a lot....i used it for my laptop and I have two flip 3's for outdoorsy type adventures

Nice speaker and a good price for it, but now having had an AirPlay speaker, I could never go back to Bluetooth.

fyi, none of your codes work on this item so might want to delete all that garbage. I'm assuming you tried them all before you posted this deal so you already know they don't work on bose products. $99 isn't a bad price even for refurb, but this isn't refurb by bose so not sure I trust the condition of this.

I sold my almost 2 years old SoundLink Mini on Craigslist for $100. Good deal for the Bose but $55 JBL Charge 2 / 2+ beats it in term of price/performance.

The charge does not beat this in terms of sound quality, which is the most important factor

I found this in Costco today. Is there a significant difference between this one and the version 2. I liked this lot. But wondering if it makes sense to get 2 for more price?

I think Costco has the OG SL Mini for $145. Sound wise, the OG is better than the Mini 2. The Mini 2 can charge via MicroUSB so it's easier to carry around. Both are heavy so they're not ideal to travel with.
When I had it, I couldn't bring it with me when I travel due to the weight. I mostly used it as the desktop speaker.
The cons are: no microphone for handfree calls, no water-spoofing, it takes sometime to fully charge, only 5 hrs play time, bluetooth verison 2 / 2.1 so your phone will use more battery,...

Wow....that was overflowing with snide arrogance, condescension, and pride.

I guess I'll add ignorance too.

I said 'Sale3' might be over.

I took the time to ADD A NOTE AND A DISCLAIMER regarding the extra promo codes. Smh. Good grief man!

The other promo codes WORK and are valid for first-time purchases. YMMV as I clearly said because:
1. Groupon notably sucks when it comes to consistency in their promo codes
2. If you have too many accounts, if Groupon identifies you as a prior customer, or if there's a current exception on any welcome promo then it won't work.
3. People who don't know how to make to sock accounts to buy on Groupon and use their welcome promos are not veteran Slickdealers.

Well, it's my turn to "SMH".

The problems are clear;
1. Ignorance
2. Laziness
3. Reading comprehension "skillz" not employed ('might', YMMV[, the LONG NOTE right in my original post about the promo codes being inconsistent.)

The welcome promos change often.

Expend some calories and create a new Groupon Account and get your own. Enjoy at will.

Some people are so downright ungrateful, too lazy to read, unwilling to help themselves or expend any effort....and they have the balls to COMPLAIN about members posting deals here AS A FAVOR.

Rude and entitled doesn't began to describe it.

I'm not usually so direct and never nasty but you two are something else and your behavior is so off-putting that I've had it with anyone who acts like that.

Girls? LoL

Besides, Entitlement, rudeness, and false statements have no gender.

Love the sentiment though. Thanks :-)
