Best Android Phone with replaceable battery and SD card?

Planning for the day when my Verizon S4 goes\looking for a backup. Many opinions out there but was wondering what people thought was the best Android phone with a replaceable battery and SD Card currently on the market? Best one from a value perspective currently?

Are you sticking to Verizon? That adds another level of complication.

I am with AT&T, and looking for a budget phone as a backup ($100 to $200). For my purposes, no gaming just talk (good speakerphone a must) text and web surfing. Any suggestions? TIA, and I give reps Smilie

Most likely. In my area, Verizon coverage is good. ATT is OK but spotty at times and T-mobile blows imo. Plus I have an unlimited call and text, 1 GB data line plan on my S4 smart phone that costs me all of $57 a month after taxes so I really have no reason to switch to another carrier as they would all likely cost me more. I usually use wifi and do not stream video to my phone over 4g, so 1GB of data is all I need.

Define best. IMHO, best with replaceable battery and an SD card is the Note 4. I don't follow Verizon but I believe they were pushing Marshmallow starting last summer to the Note 4.
$150-200 used.

Best phone with removable battery and sd card currently is probably the LG G5. The LG V20 also meets those requirements but is more of a phablet.

The LG G5 is 18 months newer than the Note 4.

Hopefully the upcoming LG G6 keeps the removable battery.

Why do conservative politicians oppose conservation?
Have you ever stopped to think the long-term GOP immigration policy might be to make the United States of America a less desirable place to live than Mexico?

Also an active LG G5 owner, I still make the claim of the Note 4 being the best Smilie
I have not used the V20 but I don't think that meets the "value perspective" criteria.

sure Apple can replace it for you!

I have the Note 4 and it is really a great phone, the stylus is also a major plus when playing games too.

For new phones the V20 will probably be my next phone.

Best one with removable battery? Only about 2 choices. LG G5 or HTC. A lot of phones don't come with removable batteries any more. Phone goes bad before battery

Most recent reason why everyone should be armed at all times:
Santa Fe, TX school shooting. 10 killed 10 wounded.
This was a gun free zone. The shooter didn't care. Gun free zones only hurt honest citizens. If someone was armed there could've been 1 less death.

Not really a removable battery, but the Moto Z Droid has the mods you can add, and one of them is a battery pack. Swappa is flush with new ones around $300.
This gives you flagship specs at a very low price.

$300 is hardly a low price. And a mod to give you what you should have in the first place is a waste of money imo.

Note 4 and SG4 users here. The Note 4 hasn't been a problem and I got it refurb from an SD deal about 2 years ago. DW's SG4 I got when they came out, and I've replaced the phone a FEW times. Fortunately that means I have a boneyard of SG4's I can dip into for parts. The first one the screen went blank, but apparently the mobo was OK. The second, the mobo got stuck in a boot loop. The third (bought on swappa) didn't have any issues until DW dropped it and shattered the screen - I just swapped the mobo with one that had a good screen. I then had to swap the speaker (yeah, weird, right?) which I stole from another phone in the bone yard.

When this one goes (parts from 3 different phones), I don't know what to upgrade to. Some may ask why I stuck with SG4 - simple. I have cases and batteries for the SG4, and you can get good condition used ones for $120 or so. When you have people that can't take care of technology, why give them a $500 phone?
