I believe most places have tax.

I wanted this to go with my Dell XPS 13 just so I have 1 less AC adapter to plug in to go with my Nexus 6P and Pixel C. It's pretty cheap and you know it's a genuine item. It seems buying them elsewhere, even Amazon, is kind of a crapshoot for genuine charges.

It also comes with an extra USB port on the charger so you can charge something else with the 1 outlet.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Why the thumbs down? Good price on a 45w USB-C adapter. And has anybody tried this with a Macbook? (Specifically a 2016 MacBook Pro)
Thanks, OP!

I have the same question as above. If I could get this to work on a 2016 MBP, The apple OE one is 87W vs this at 45W so I am worried it wont work.

Would be a good way to burn Dell Rewards tho

Yeah, I had $17 in Dell rewards I forgot about so it was a nice surprise when I went to check out.

Anyone know the specs of this charger? What's the USB-C standalone output, and what's the USB-A output? What the individual output if both are used simultaneously?

Note that there is also a coupon for 35% off power accessories that shows up on the product page but it cancels out the original discount and makes the price higher. It's also hard to remove once you have entered it

Damn! Well thanks for clearing up my confusion before I even went through that process.

I'm a little new to USB-C, but I assume a high-quality name brand charger like this doesn't have any chance of frying a device that it's not specifically intended for. It must default to a safe current until the attached device sends the signal that it can handle more.

I too have this question.

EDIT: From the Compatibility tab of the product page -

This product is compatible with the following systems:

XPS 13
Venue 10 Pro (5056)
Venue 8 Pro (5855)
Latitude 7370
Inspiron 13 7000 Series (7368)
Inspiron 15 7000 Series (7569)
Inspiron 17 7000 Series (7778)
XPS 13 (9360)

So, newp.
Also, the XPS 15 requires 60W iirc.
