4tb Seagate Backup Plus $54. OfficeDepot/Max ymmv.

Posted 01-17-2017 by MattM9955 at 04:00 PM
I was in Laredo, TX on business, and went into a local Office Depot. They had a 4tb Seagate Backup Plus drive on their clearance board for $77. I wasn't really looking for one, but that's a pretty good price, so why not?

Anyway, they had one left, and when I checked out, it rang up as $53.95. The drive does not show as an active item on the website, and I bought the last one that they had in stock, so definitely this would be a YMMV kinda deal. Item number on the receipt is 994421.

Good luck!

LMAO 1 Store In Stock: $116.93.

Are they on drugs? 5 TB drives off the street sell for less and this isn't even portable.

Called the store. There was only 1 in stock and it was quite a drive in a sketchy area.

If you ever drive by an OD, they should have an in-store computer to check product availability somewhere. On their internal intranet you can see clearance prices at other stores as well with the SKU #.

Picked up 2 in Austell, GA. Great deal, thanks OP! Got to upgrade my 3TBs to 4TB for what should essentially be free after I flip the 3TBs!
