they're decent "quality" but the main problem I have with these bags is that they are way too heavy even when empty. the bags themselves feel heavy which is a bad thing in my opinion

Are these bags any good compared to Swiss wenger bags?

I've had one of these for nearly 6 years and it's still going strong. The only problem is that one of the little plastic drains on the bottom pocket fell off a couple of years ago, but it doesn't have any impact on the function of the bag.

I regularly carry 2 laptops in the laptop pocket, a DSLR and 2 lenses in the main pocket, and 2-3 days of clothes on top.

True. And the bag kind of looks funny and flops around when 0%-25% full.

I can't justify buying a backpack for 100 especially if people are already complaining that it's heavy without anything in it.

This almost set of my Chris Berman alert. Was really looking for Backbackback, not back back.

Three things to watch out for when owning this bag. 1. A lot of room not enough compartments for organization. Be prepared to just shove everything inside 2. Metal bars on the back look really cool but might scratch cars when you're parked in a tight spot. 3. The upper flap can get annoying having to lift it to even open the bag but serves as a great form of anti-theft.

Weight for me isn't a huge issue. Just the lack of compartments and sheer size is a bit unpleasant for a student. Love it on trips but I use my Jansport or Northface for school sadly.
