If this is not slick for some or just hating on Apple then just simply move on. Also for some of the signature visa cc it can extend another year of warranty as well.

Expires: 1/23 9.59pm. Live again. One day only.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

At the same price point as Apple, Windows has literally everything you mentioned.
You're basically comparing a $1500 MPB to a $300-600 windows laptop.those are one lacking the features and specs you mentioned.
Show me a windows laptop in the same price range and form factor as the MPB that doesn't have these things.

Also anybody saying the MBP is overpriced show me a windows laptop with the same resolution and form factor that has a much lower msrp.

There are different tiers of laptops and I wish people would stop lumping all laptops together.
a $500 toshiba and a $1500 MPB are not in the category.

This deal is tempting... But still don't think I can justify that much on a pretty basic spec laptop

Don't they charge tax for the eBay one as well, and maybe depending on your tax rate one of the private sellers [ebay.com] is cheaper?

I guess he is referring to the $1300 one on eBay without tax not a long ago.

decent deal, but not "slick", unless you live in a state that doesn't charge sales tax.

don't forget that this unit only has 2 USB ports, so if you are charging the laptop you'll only have one port available. i opted for the touchbar model that my local microcenter was selling for $1440 (open box).
