link? or are you referring to their direct deposit bill pay and keep over 15k+(minimum) in the account for 6+ months. I have only seen that be for $500 if you meet all the requirements

No annual fee but a complete waste of a hard pull.

Seriously? Implicit here is that you're considering opening a card for only a $50 perk. $600 worth of value is my minimum, and there is no shortage of offers.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve, currently only available in branch, gives:
1. 100,000 UR points which are with at least 1.5¢ each, so this is at least $1,500, when you spend $4k in the first 3 months.
2. $300 travel credit that you can use annually, plus an additional time in the year you cancel (2x if you keep the card 1 year; 3x if you keep the card 2 years; 4x if you keep the card 5 years, etc)
3. $100 reimbursement for Global Entry (1x every 4 years)
4. Many other ongoing benefits.
It's a $450 annual fee, but you can see you get $400 of that right back, $750 if you just keep it 1 year, plus the $1500+ in points.

OR, the Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards card gives you 50k points, worth $750 in travel. $69 Annual fee.

OR the Chase Freedom cards, one of which gives you $250 flat out. No annual fee.

OR a BofA card that gives you $250 flat out. No annual fee.

Basically, this offer here totally blows.

Amex blue cash was also giving 250 bonus + 200cash back on $2000 in amazon purchases (10%, for 6 months) plus amex offers, some good ones show up occasionally
Edit:
Chase Sapphire preferred is also a good option

I'm new to credit cards, I had a discover student card for a while and recently I got a chase freedom unlimited.. credit score was 778 when they did the hard pull... would it be bad to cancel my discover credit card and open this Walmart one? and possibly cancel this Walmart one in the next few months.
