Anyone know how this compares to other water delivery services?

At 5.99 for 5 gallons purified water (6.99 spring water), this is more than twice the price of water when comparing to a case of 40 16.9 ounce bottles of Kirkland purified in club at 2.99. I do get it though, the convenience of delivery instead of lugging so many cases home every month.

Agreed. Minus the convenience, the 40 16.9 oz kirkland bottles is a much better deal.
BTW it seems like they upped their price on rental, I pay $1/month for the cooler.

Seems like you have to get the water delivery service. I guess its still a screaming deal even with that if you don't want it.

Is it? It's $32.37 yearly plus tax plus minimum water buy plus energy surcharge and paper billing surcharge. Assuming the machine lasts 3+ years, you could own the machine. These machines do break (burned through them some years ago when they were likely made better, though with possibly worse quality control).

I pay about a penny a gallon from my tap. Add a Brita if it tastes funny. For 99% of American's there is no point (unless you have bad well water or live in Detroit)
