Although it's not as good as the previous post at $629.20 a month ago,
an OEM battery grip is $130+ and OEM battery $50+ makes this deal pretty decent.

This seems really high. They had the same kit for about $550 shipped during black friday deals. It's a great camera though, love it so far.

I believe that was for the 18-55 lens and no extra battery and battery grip.

You're correct.
I bought one of those sets and have had no issues with anything in the bundle.

you can get an off brand grip and 2 batteries w charher for around 80-90 or cheaper. I did and am extremely happy. I had purchased the t6i w/ lens kit 18-55mm and the 50- 135 I think a,month ago

Bought this a few weeks ago for this price. Very happy with it. For being refurbished the camera and lens looked brand new. Also comes with a one year warranty fwiw.

I would recommend looking for a deal without the extra batteries. I have a Canon SL1 which has a smaller internal battery than the T6i but have been very satisfied with the battery life. Unless you plan to shoot a lot of video, the extra $ would be better spent towards an additional lens, tripod, memory card, etc. There's plenty of inexpensive aftermarket batteries to pick up later if you need.

As pointed out, this is a warm but very decent and good deal.
One of the best canon bodies considering Quality to price ratio. Lens supplied is not a L class Canon but very close and for a casual shooter, might be the only lens he or she needs.
Unlike most kits, containing a bunch of garbage and useless, list filling/ ALTERNATIVE temptation provoking stuff, the accessories supplied here are some of the most useful ones you want to own. Any serious picture taking person knows that there is no such thing as enough "Memory" or enough "Battery power" as one of the two are always going to be standing between you and that ONE image you wanted and could not shoot!
If you are buying this for yourself, I can promise you once add the power grip to the body and see how nicely it fits your hand, adding vertical grip, adding precious much longer time before annoying battery charging event (Due to add of second battery within the grip that holds two), you will never want to remove it. Power grips are addictive. The third party ones, though nice for the price, are not comparable with longevity of original Canon.
Even if you pay a few dollar extra (Compare to a hot deal) you pay for right stuff and in long run, you will be happy with your purchase here.
Thumbs Up.

well if anybody is gonna buy this here is a $10 one time use code that expires the 28th of January. I'm not gonna use it. i already checked to see if I could get anything for free. shipping kills that idea.

Really upset that I didn't pull the trigger for some of the T6i refurb deals about a month ago. Wish I could replicate those, would not hesitate again. Good deal and nice first post, unfortunately a little out of my price range. TU.

I bought the refurb deal for 510 a month ago with the 2 lenses. The camera and lenses came in regular brown boxes marked canon but were basically new. The camera is very nice for the price.

Unless you already have a lot of expensive Canon lenses, the Nikon D3400 for $450 today is a MUCH better deal.

If you are willing to spend ~ $730, I would suggest you wait for some deal on 70d. It usually goes for $799 (without the battery grip and extra battery). I am an absolute beginner and 70d is my first DSLR camera. Fantastic experience so far. Went through a couple of sessions on Fundamentals of Digital Photography and Fast start Canon 70d by John Greengo and now using my camera in Manual mode most of the time. Absolutely loving the low light photography.

What i love about this community is the knowledge that the users share. It helped me in choosing a camera that i can grow into. Thanks SD'ers. Keep up the great work you guys are doing..
