Honestly I've got a heavy set build and the extra slim fit me perfectly so I think the sizing of "extra slim" is misleading. As a comparison, Banana Republic normal size shirts are too slim for me.

However love the quality of CT shirts.

Thank OP. FYI if you use usnb33 instead of levin at the end of the url you can buy more than 3 at 33 a piece

I have several of their ESF shirts from 2013-2014 and they fit very well. I heard they made a change to them back in 2015 and the ESF is now more true to its name and might be like the "skinny jeans" of shirts. I could use a few new shirts and the slim fit sounds more like the equivalent.

I guess it depends how you like to wear it but I'm pretty stocky with broad shoulders and I think esf is barely slim enough meaning it could go slimmer. I've tried slim fit and it was very wide and boxy.

No offense, but are you sure you are wearing the right size? The collar size affects the width of the shirt. I'm 5'11 and fluctuate between 165 and 170 lbs. A 15 collar slim fit is body hugging on me and looks tailored.

Yes, and alternatively you can buy as few as 1 for $33 with free shipping. I ordered 4 earlier today for $132.

you might be right. I remember my older ESF shirts having a lot more room in them and my 2015 ones definitely fit a bit snugger.

I go 6' 205lb with a 17.5 neck (im a fatboy) and the newer ESF shirts dont have that much extra fabric to bunch up or anything. I havent tried the slim fits becuase I've always been happy with how the ESF fits and looks.

The ESF definitely changed in late 2015. They pulled about 1.5-2" out of the chest (corresponding to neck size) and some out of the arms. I used to fit perfect in the old ESF (15.5 / 34 / 41.5" chest 6' 170 above average shoulder width). The change meant the buttons now pulled a lot at the chest. Just went up to 16" to pick up 2" more in the chest, hope they fit in ESF.

Are you getting the right collar size? Might need to go down, especially if you don't need to button the top button anyway.

I ordered 6. Would have got another 3, but site will only do 6 at this price.
