Battle.net balance is tied to your region. If you use your Amazon digital credits to buy a B.net $20 card, do not load it to your Americas B.net account. You have to log into tw.battle.net [battle.net] ($22.47) or kr.battle.net [battle.net] ($20-something). Actually, don't buy an Amazon B.net card at all. It will be in dollaridoos and the tw./kr. domains will tell you it's the wrong currency.

If you need to add a balance (i.e. your total balance is below one of the prices above), then you will have to wait several hours for Blizzard to approve your transaction. B.net says 1-3 days, mine took ~5 hours. If you are using your non-Taiwanese/non-Korean PayPal/CC then there's a good chance it will be denied. You won't know for several hours.

Legit. Went through the checkout process on my secondary account and confirmed it's coming up as $22. If you've been on the edge, this is definitely a good price.

OVERWATCH GLOBAL PLAY
Global Play in Overwatch works differently from our other games. All of your game progress, including unlocked in-game items, remains the same across all regions.

Note: Game key and friend list restrictions still apply.

CHANGING REGIONS
You can switch between regions via the game options menu or Play button in the Battle.net Desktop Application. When you launch the game, you will log in to the selected region.

While it has global play, the friend list servers are weird. They are separate. You won't see your American friends online unless you change region to America, and also launch overwatch. Else they will remain hidden because battle net seems to prioritize your initial region while not in any game.

Anyway, I wish I waited for this as I spent $60 some, I think, buying this for a friend yesterday. Lol.

Why do people volunteer such information about themselves?

"it used my 20 balance from my eBay flipping and charged only 8 bucks on my discover"

I keep getting a paypal error when attempting to checkout. I believe its because my paypal account is registered in the U.S. and the site is in Taiwan. Any others have issues?

Maybe adding to your balance and checking out with that will work.

Thanks for the suggestion. I got it working by adding a credit card to my Paypal and paying using that.
