This is certainly not as sleek as the Chase Unlimited Freedom considering the spending requirement, but anyone who will be spending that amount and already has a chase or an amex can use this.

Also remember, WF CCs are great for cell phone insurance (as long as you pay your monthly cellular bill in full with the WF cc)!

So I hardly ever comment, but I thought my rejection notice might save some people time. Paraphrasing, "declined due to lack of or insufficient duration with Wells Fargo." I just spoke to a customer rep to confirm this oddity. Basically if you don't have some other association with Well Fargo, don't bother applying. And by the way my scores are above 800.

This is absolutely disgusting, how can anyone be declined like this? I have had dozens of credit cards but never faced this, will never again give my business to them

This is the same bank that was setting up millions of phony new accounts for people who didn't ask for them to pad their numbers....how people are shocked by anything they do (or give them any money at all) baffles me.

Pairs well with the $250 new checking bonus if you need to spend 1K anyway. Easy $400
