Vizio P series 75" display (no tuner) is on sale at Sams Club for $2698 currently. I talked with both a BestBuy rep through online chat and phone who said they would price match the price because it doesn't say "members only" next to the price. They also said they would price match the M70-D3 at $1648.

I have both the P75 and M70. Both displays still have cut out issues when watching a 4k disc with the Xbox One S. Obviously the P75 has a much better picture which when sourced from a true uncompressed 4k source and media (i.e. Lucy 4k, Sully 4k, etc looks soooo freakin awesome!

I'm literally going back and forth between the P75-C1 for $2698 and the M70-D3 for $1648. I currently have a M70-C3 in my living room and a old Mitsubishi 73" DLP in the basement. The DLP is starting to go (color wheel/fan is getting noisy, needs a bulb, etc) so I want to move the M70-C3 into the basement and replace it. I just can't decide between the two and $1k for a extra 5" is hard to justify (for a TV....).

I felt the same but did the M70. $1000 for 5" and more active zones didn't seem that...practical.

Cut out? You mean screen goes black? That means your HDMI cable doesnt have enough bandwidth. You need a better cable.

Exactly. The P series has "real" HDR. As stated for people who don't know WCG is wide color gamut and can display many more colorsnwhere the M series isn't much better than the previous year but can read the data and try to display as much of it as possible.

I haven't played any games on the XB1, I bought it solely for its 4k UHD player. I do however play games on the regular PS4 and havent has any issues.

Its a fuzzy snow effect and it's not the cable, it's a known problem that has yet to be rectified, despite repeated promises from Microsoft and Vizio engineers.

That's not the only possible issue. Based on your advice he could go waste money on a cable when it was a firmware issue. It's one thing to say "It might be the cable, probably worth trying another" vs "this is what it is, you need this". The second leaves no room for doubt, which in even the most certain cases, there is usually doubt.
