Bank of America BankAmeriDeals cashback on Hulu $15 back(YMMV)

I found this deal on my account today. Limited commercial plan is $7.99 but this is what the deal says

Sign up for Hulu and earn $15 cash back when you spend $5 or more. That's up to one month of Hulu's Limited Commercials plan, free! Get into Hulu's newest original series, THE PATH. Plus, watch exclusive series that can only be streamed on Hulu like EMPIRE, SEINFELD, SOUTH PARK & CURIOUS GEORGE.

You need to add this cash back deal to get the offer. Check your BofA app or login online. YMMV

Does that require BofA Credit card or will debit card work?

I can use this on any BofA card I have debit or credit. You can check which of your cards are linked on your account

How is this better than the free months they keep offering me by email? No hoops to jump thru, no effort whatsoever..

Seems to me it would be better because you get $15 back just for spending $7.99. Cancel and gain $7. Or am I missing something?

The effort involved LOL. All I have to do to get the month is go on the site and say yes. I guess it's 6 of one, a half dozen of the other.

But to me this isn't much of a deal.

How long does it actually take for BankAmeriDeals to show up as pending after the charge posts? Does it really take 7 days after the charge posts? My Hulu charge posted on 01/29 but nothing yet on the BankAmeriDeals tab.

After you make a qualifying purchase, your deal will display as Processing until the transaction posts to your account, usually within 7 days. After your transaction posts, the cash back earned will display as Pending on the Earned tab.

Is there any way to reach CSR for failed deals?

Last time around signed up for the deal and never got my cash back. Called CS 2 times, opened tickets to get credit. Nothing. BOA = worst customer service.

I get the $7.99 cash back offer when spending $5 but it says new subscribers only in fine print.

Was time to cancel today my last 2 free months, and when I went online to cancel, Hulu offered me another free month! So that gives me another month to find a new 1 or 2 month free deal. Smilie

Going to hulu.com to sign up for trial only gives 1 week. That's no good. I'm spoiled with 1 or 2 free MONTHS! Smilie

I would say BOA CSR is a joke.
