Just got this offer in via the SPG App. Stay one night at regular rate and your second and third night's rate will be equal to the year you were born. Born in 1968? Pay $68.

I checked some higher end properties and found that they added $100 + birth year... I was like, "Wait, that is not what was advertised!". Still, not a bad deal, especially in higher end properties. Regardless, I called to book and stated that the ad made no mention of the $100 extra for various higher end properties and directed the rep to the ad and the $100 fee was waived! bounce

Be sure to mention code "NBR" when booking online or via phone (& get the $100 fee waived on certain properties that they charge)

I couldn't contain myself to find out what would happen... So I just called! Called Starwood Corporate customer service (I am a platinum status too, so I get good service and treatment from them - I got that status by staying 25 nights, although officially you need 50 nights or 50 stays.. Anytime I booked multiple nights, I booked the reservation as individual days so that it counted towards the 25 stays count lol)

The reps answer (her name was "Jaycell" in Kansas) was "As long as you have a non-minor checking in with you, it should "0" out for that second night stay as long as the minor with the b-day in year 2000 is the one booking it.....

I can only imagine some cheap mofo trying to get a 16-17 year old to stay with them so they can get the deal. At least you couldn't use the excuse that you didn't know they weren't 18...

that's wrong.

booking multiple reservations for multiple successive days still counts as one stay for each frequent guest program number.

the only exception is if you hop across to another property each night or obviously if the reservation is under a different name, in which case that other person will get the stay. not you.

I don't think that's how you were able to count to 25 stays. I'm sure you did get to platinum. just not the way you're explaining.
