Have around $350-400 to spend. I am a decent size guy, 6'3" 275, but not a blob (some muscle hehe). I am somewhat interested in the DXRacer chairs, but I am hesitant from the lack of reviews. I tried out the Hyken from Staples, did NOT like it. Sort of liked the Tempur-Pedic chairs, but arm rests are plastic not padded. I currently have a Staples TOrrent chair and like/love it (lasts about 18 months then loses padding feel to seat).

Any and all help appreciated.

Prefer high back/managers type chairs, adjustable arms (up down only is perfectly fine)Stick Out Tongue

After about 20 hours of research, I just pulled the trigger on this. More for home office use (3 days a week work from home). But sounds similar to your needs. I can post impressions in a few days once i get it and put it together.

Definately let me know. I work from home full time, and sit for around 5-6 hours a day. The mesh chairs interest me too.

i have a mesh chair from office max. it was their "premium house brand" or piece of shit. the foam in the armrests split and the chair creeks, I'm only 200ish lbs. it replaced my full back, cloth, Samsonite one. which lasted a long time but the cushion wore out.

at work i have a herman miller chair, not sure it was worth the money but it is pretty good. i prefer a full back and not the mid back.

I can also give you a warning about the Staples mesh chairs. Their high-quality construction (read: complete and utter garbage) ensures the arm rests crumble to pieces. The luxurious mesh seat is so comfortable that it leaves a permanent red imprint your ass, as if it were resting upon a thousand staples. That was easy.

I'm in the process of eating 1,000 cans of beans and overdosing on vitamin C so that I can give it away on Craigslist.

you can't OD on vitamin c it is water soluble. you just pee the excess out. if you want to OD on a vitamin, A, D, and K are fat soluble so they can build to toxic levels in your system.

i bet he has the same chair i have. the red imprint is normal, you'd get that from sitting on anything in the same position for too long.

WorkPro Quantum 9000 Series Ergonomic Mesh Mid-Back Chair, Black

We went with this one from Amzaon/Office Depot. It arrived in 24 hrs. 30 mins max to put together. So far we love it, use it to work at home about 25 hrs a week, 6-8 hrs at a time.
