SaltyOne, TU & repped.

I usually get the deals (4 for $4) or value meal items, and SD posts like these special deals lets me sample the occasional "premium" items.TY & repped.TY & repped. Useful website!I find, after Taco Bell, Jack in the Box has the most reasonable prices on non-deals (4 for $4) or NON-value menu items. For a little more than the premium burgers at the other places, one can get a combo.

BTW, if you do the surveys on the back of the receipts, JIB again wins with a $1.99 Jumbo Jack. The KFC or LJS surveys are a good deal, too. Did a Wendy's survey once for $2 off, but their burgers were so expensive, I skipped the $2 off and just went for their 4 for $4 (which has expanded to a choice of 3 different burgers now).

==================================================

Personally, in order of taste and value, here is my ranking of fast food deals:

FREE after coupon

Lohn John Silver's $1.99 fish & chips

BOGO after coupon (like this deal)

Carl's Jr 4 for $4 (get TWO burgers instead of nuggets like others)
(Personally, though, I will stop going to Carl Jr's because of the owner's anti-worker policies, just like I stopped going to Darden restaurants like Olive Garden because they cut worker hours to deny them healthcare.Too bad - we both lose - their burgers are above average in taste and size.]

McDonald's McPick 2 for $2.50 (burgers only)

Taco Bell $1 items

Popeye's Tuesday special, 2-piece $1.99

Wendy's 4 for $4

McDonald's 2 for $5.00 (seldom offered Frown )

Subway $5 sub

Burger King 2 for $5

Burger King 5 for $4

Subway $6 sub

I was honestly hoping they were going to make this free like last year's Super Bowl. Their burgers are already pretty expensive...

Thanks for the post and for you protesting with your feet. Regardless of wether I agree with your reason or not or your political stances in general ( I don't have an idea what it might be ) it is important that we support everyone's right to protest within reason.

Thanks for bringing Carl's Jr policies to my attention. I abhor that sort of business behavior. luckily I'm in a field where that sort of behavior wouldn't fly, but I really feel bad for those of us that have no choice but to take it or quit.

I miss Jack In The Box. Used to live in San Diego. None in GA. Although, it looks like TN, SC, and NC have them. Didn't know that until now.
