Oout OF Stock: Black Dial SRP529J1 LINK HERE [passthewatch.com]

This usually sell for $280 and I think $199.50 is a good deal considering the upgrades that it have compared to the SARB033 and SARB035 line (except for the movement)

bought a cheaper Seiko auto in the past. A 3 ft drop on a wood floor rendered it useless.

4R36 has 40-hour power reserve, so the listing is incorrect.

The higher-end 6R36 with the upgraded SPRON510 mainspring has a 50-55 hour power reserve, but this watch does not have the 6R movement.

This is not one of those cheap watches such as Sports 5 and american seikos. This is on par with the SAR lines and below the grand seikos, feel one and see the difference, watch the review too and see

Yup I agree, they are priced almost more than half compared to Swiss movement but same or better quality! They are just beauties!

What's the functional advantage of automatic over quartz other than not having to change the battery?

I have the same movement in a Seiko SRP775. I get consistent -3 second accuracy. So when I adjust the date at the beginning of the month, I set the time +90 seconds. This is a true quality movement up their with Swiss ETA. Chronometer accuracy.
