The average person doesn't "need" to know that at all.

The technical power user / AV Enthusiast wants this information to make sure they get the absolute best.

For $333 none of what you said matters. It's understood what you are getting at this price point.

Yeah, I was surprised how much better the Hisense picture looked over the Samsung 6290. Even without the HDR on the Hisense the Hisense looked much better.

I paid $720 for my 65 but it was an open box on Amazon back in October. Also go a Toshiba 65 recently for $622 out the door, but it has Chromecast and 1 less HDMI port. I much prefer the Hisense even at $100 more.

Yep but not anymore - plus there is tax which made it closer to $900 for me. But it was the H8 which is the newer model than my (and this) H7.

this isn't enough information - you need to know color space and HDR functionality as well.

In certain stores, not online, yes, they had them on clearance. None within a hundred miles of me or I would have bought one. Besides, this is delivered to your door....

I wish I needed another 50" 4k TV. I use the KU6290 40" as a monitor, and I really don't understand the fuss behind 4:4:4. The picture looks a little different between HDR on and off, but one doesn't necessarily look any better than the other.
