I went to the second best public university in the country, got a solid GPA, make 6 digits a year and have received over $1,500 in cash back from Discover in the 1.5 years I've had the card.

Highlighted the most important part for all the goofs that would attempt to try this and not in college.

Don't think there is any you can use discover cashback on your statement, GC or if you prefer paying with Amazon you can ( I would rather buy with CC and pay with cashback but that's me

Hmmm..wonder if there is any way of contacting Discover on this and proving you are a student with valid transcripts to get the bonus.

Don't worry, the names will be ps'd to protect the innocent. Rotflmao
You don't need any sort of proof. I just did it for one of my family members' accounts.

However, the option doesn't show up on my own account, presumably because I am not a student and did not indicate that I was when I applied for the card.

I was a good student during my undergrad life and was a responsible Discover card holder throughout it all. Am I not eligible for the promotion because I'm just too old to get it?
